In addition to her singing, Amanda is a voice and beginning piano teacher. She received her Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy. Pedagogy is the science behind the art of singing. She offers lessons to singers of all ages and skill levels. For the two years she studied at NYU, she was employed by the university as an Adjunct Instructor of Voice. During this time she taught voice lessons to non-music majors, as well as students within the music program who do not study voice as their primary instrument.
Amanda believes that voice should be taught in a kind and calm environment. She teaches from an imagery-based philosophy combined with physical tools and positive reinforcement. She teaches with a classical technique, but has experience teaching a wide variety of genres, including Pop, Country, Musical Theatre, and Jazz.
Amanda believes that a love music can come not only in singing, but from other instruments such as piano. She learned piano first, and believes that learning piano is the gateway to learning any instrument you want moving forward.
Amanda has a studio in Metro Atlanta area. If you have interest in voice or piano lessons, contact for rates. She would love to teach you!
